CNC Milling
CNC milling is a subtractive manufacturing process that combines traditional milling with computer numerical control (CNC) technology. It involves using a rotating cutting tool to remove material from a solid block of metal, plastic, wood, or other materials to create precise parts and products. Unlike manual milling, where operators control the machine by hand, CNC milling is fully automated. The machine’s movements are guided by pre-programmed G-code, which dictates toolpath, speed, and cutting depth, ensuring consistent and highly accurate results.
Our plant list includes 4 x CNC milling machines capable of manufacturing components measuring up to 1500mm x 650mm. Three of these machines are equipped with 4th attachments to enable radial milling of components up to 400mm diameter x 1000mm long. Increasing our diversity means that we are able to reduce the number of operations required increasing efficiency and reducing lead-times
